They will have the opportunity to learn new songs, learn proper vocal technique, and make new friends all while having a blast. They will be guided through the program by the studio owner, Skyler Boardley, an experienced and passionate vocalist who has decades of choir experience and years of vocal instruction. Through the summer, they will improve their skills. Plus, at the end of the program, they will have the chance to showcase their talents in a performance for friends and family. The Benefits of Choir

  • Improved mental health: Singing can release endorphins, which can help reduce stress and improve mood. This can be especially important for children who may be dealing with anxiety or other challenges.
  • Increased social connection: Joining a choir can provide children with a sense of community and belonging. They can connect with others who share their love of music and develop new friendships.
  • Enhanced musical skills: Singing in a choir can help children develop their vocal range, pitch, and harmony skills. It can also improve their ability to read sheet music and follow a conductor.
  • Physical benefits: Singing promotes deep breathing and good posture, which can help improve children's overall physical health and even strengthen their immune system.
  • Performance opportunities: Many children's choirs perform in concerts and other events, providing opportunities for young singers to showcase their talents and gain experience performing in front of an audience.
  • Cultural enrichment: Singing in a choir can expose children to a diverse range of music styles and traditions, which can broaden their musical horizons and deepen their appreciation for different cultures.
