She is an accomplished pianist, with extensive training, as she has earned a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance from Florida State University. We are confident that she will be able to guide you in the right direcion on your musical journey! She can even teach you how to sing!

Biography
Heather Williams' lifelong passion for music was ignited by her father's love for the art, as he was a musician who shared his talents and enthusiasm with her from a young age. This inspired her in her own journey as a musician.
Her dream came true when she earned a scholarship to Florida State University, where she began her studies. During her college years, Heather found great joy in developing her accompanying skills and thrived off of exploring her creativity through studio recording, songwriting, and playing in bands. These experiences helped her develop a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of various musical styles. A recipient of the prestigious Steinway Scholarship, Heather holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music with a concentration in Piano Performance from Columbus State University. She had the honor of studying under the late Dr. Carolyn Bridger at Florida State University, and later with Dr. Betty Anne Diaz at Columbus State University, further honing her skills and deepening her musical knowledge.
Heather is an exceptional piano teacher with 17+ years of experience instructing piano technique, performance skills, aural training, music theory, and creativity. Throughout her career she has successfully directed private piano studios in Tennessee and Georgia, imparting her expertise to countless students. Additionally, she has brought her passion for music education to the public school system, enriching the lives of many young musicians. Her students have showcased their talents in local competitions and studio recitals, often receiving accolades for their performances. Her commitment to excellence is further demonstrated through her master classes, where she delves into the intricacies of musicality and technique, inspiring both students and peers alike.
In recent years, Heather has expanded her musical horizons by learning about the sync industry and collaborating with other musicians to submit music for placement in film and television. She has also become an active member of a creative music teaching community, where she has gained valuable insights into teaching improvisation to her students.
Among the workshops Heather leads, one of her favorites to teach is the 12 Bar Blues on Piano, where students are introduced to the Blues form, as well as a couple of Blues scales, where they learn how to improvise over a simple, but well-loved familiar chord progression.
Heather's passion for music is evident in her dynamic teaching style, which engages and motivates her students to reach their full potential. Her dedication to fostering a love for music and a mastery of the piano through innovative teaching methods has made her a beloved and influential figure in the music education community.
